I'm not currently using knowit, but for a period of time I used to A LOT, and 
would like to again.

The reasons I'm not using it at the moment are:

a) the format isn't xml (so you'll be fixing one of the biggies :-)
(I want to be able to slurp into other things easily, and I want it to be 
indexed sensibly by beagle and/or kat).
b) I can't drag and drop things into it (especially mail items from kmail, and 
I know that's not trivial)
c) I couldn't find a version for kubuntu (having trashed one I found on the 
web, when I went back it was gone).
