First of all, KnowIt 0.10 compiles and runs without problems so far.

Apropos QTextEdit: 
What do you think about creating a more sophisticated QTextEdit subclass for 
KnowIt?
I thought it would be cool if I could put links directly into the note text 
and execute them by clicking (for example by Ctrl+left click). Win apps like 
cuecards or keynote support this. 
QTextEdit just underlines links and that's it. There is QTextBrowser, but this 
is a read-only widget...
I thought a little bit about link handling in an editor, there are some design 
issues like how to enter, modify and execute links (I'll post more about 
this, if there is interest in such link support).

Uh, it's time for daily .kno file backups ;)

Will you discuss the file format draft on the mailing list? I think it should 
be well planned to avoid problems and additional format changes in future 
development.
