With userbase.kde.org and techbase.kde.org we now have centrally maintained web sites which are suitable for hosting the user and developer oriented content for all kind of KDE applications. KOffice is already is represented there and there are pages for the individual applications. Would it make sense to use that to replace the KOffice web site? This would save us the setup of yet another system, make the pages much more accessible for contributors and avoid duplicated work. For Kontact we are going this route and plan to eventually just redirect kontact.kde.org to the corresponding landing page on userbase. This will hopefully finally solve the headache of an always outdated web site, whose maintenance is only accessible for a few people who are busy with other things as well. Another question: There is wiki.koffice.org. The content which is there looks like it could also be hosted at techbase. Is there a particular reason for having a special wiki installation for it? -- Cornelius Schumacher <[email protected]>
