I completely agree with Boudewijn here; people that don't run KDE should be
able to find individual KOffice apps, or even KOffice itself, without
thinking its a KDE app. Since we have seen that people that do not run KDE
feel that if they start using one KDE app that this will mean they are forced
to use KDE for *everything*.
Sad but true.
Naturally this doesn't mean we distance ourselves from KDE at all!

But this point is actually completely tangential to the thread we started
here. KOffice has a good idea (thanks Alexandra!) how to market itself to
potential users and requires a KOffice.org site for that.
We even have a mockup for the content (call it a starting point).

So what we require now;
* the technical infrastructure. Which means a simple wordpress or similar on
koffice.org.
* People able and willing to work with that install to make it look pretty and
to mold it into the structure we have in mind already.

Next week is the KOffice sprint in Berlin. The PR people will be there too and
they will surely come to real decisions on structure and goals for the
content. It would be really great if at the same time we have someone that
would be able to do the website maintenance of putting up pre-written
content, writing css, communicating with artists, etc etc etc.
I think this role is generally seen as the 'webmaster'. Which is what we used
in this thread, apologies if the impression given was more "please make us a
website from scratch" that was certainly not the intention.

And trying to read Cornelius mind; yes, we intend to leverage techbase and
userbase where applicable. :)
