Basically nothing has been decided and so far we sticked to the custom file format KPlato uses. The link http://proj.chbs.dk/specifications/ was also pointed to in previous discussions. .... I see, the site improved meanwhile. So everyone ready for a next round of investigation? Well, I'm basically open to anything that makes sense in the end. For me it's THE most-important thing for a KPlato release - a useful file format. If you have suggestions, please post them here. Also, I MUST note that the release is not that far off (probably February 2006, with feature freeze earlier!!). KPlato has at least _some_ format now - which IS XML based. It IS an option to just go with the current format, although I'm not sure if it's the best one (I personally doubt it, but we'll see what we can find).
