I think it's a wonderful idea to have an alternative to windosis projectosis. 

Have you given any thought to incorporating critical chain (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Critical_chain) capabilities into KPlato?

BTW, I'm looking for volunteers to develop a GNU Free Documentation License Project Management Standard (just like the PMBOK), but possibly better.
