I already have 0.8.4. I did enable v4l2 in the plugin Makefile, and
reinstalled kdetv. When I try to enable and setup the new plugin, kdetv
crashes as before. However, I get some more debug messages:

kdetv: **************** PluginFactory: Error loading library
kdetv_v4l2*****************
kdetv: Error: libnvidia-tls.so.1: cannot handle TLS data
kdetv: kdetv is likely to be crashing soon...
kdetv: PluginFactory: getPlugin: 'Video4Linux2 Plugin' refCount: 0
KCrash: Application 'kdetv' crashing...

So there seems to be an issue with libnvidia? What can I do to isolate the
fault?
