I can't find it anymore myself. I think earlier kdetv versions had a checkbox 
for this. In kdetv 0.8.8 the only mention I find of overlay is in the V4L1 
plugin (Configure kdetv... / Video / Video Input Mehtods), but if you're 
running SUSE 10, then you're probably using V4L2.
