We can say it is > QSortFilterProxyModel a bit changed and with a feature added. Well, in that case I'd say that it's in violation of the Qt licensing. The only Qt license that allows you to copy, modify and redistribute the code like this is the GPL v2. So the file as a whole should come under the GPL. Your changes may be LGPL, but that doesn't affect the license of the file as a whole. Since our licensing policy doesn't allow GPL code in kdelibs libraries, KCategorizedSortFilterProxyModel can't live there in its present state. It would have to be reimplemented (clean-room). At least, that's my reading of the situation.
