You asked "wheter it's ok even if it's not listed there" and I answered 
that I do not think it's ok. With respect to the code also being 
licensed under GPLv2+, we cannot incorporate code released under the 
GPL into the LGPL licensed solid.

So, yes, you should ask the author to relicense the code under the LGPL.
