Recommending Cross Over Plugin

http://www.kde.org/info/requirements/3.2.php recommends Code Weavers Cross 
Over plugin which is closed source AFAIK.
Personally, it feels wrong considering my belief in Open Source. Further, I 
really wonder if it is in line with KDE policies.

Could someone clarify?
