Re: Possible S3TC patent issue in kdelibs

Hi!

It is quite hard to figure out what exact patents are relevant for S3TC. Both the Wikipedia page as well as http://dri.freedesktop.org only say the technology is patent encumbered. Does anybody have more information about this?
