Yep. This looks like an oversight that needs to be sorted out by someone with CVS access, decent scripting skills and known to the author as reprisenting KDE. Every source file has the same exact header. Which should make a search and replace posible. Note however that there is a GPL "LICENSE" file in the folder. Also the CVS tags on mimelib indicate "Please change the license to GPL. I would do it myself if I had time." This is not nesiserily a good thing. You see, Mimelib is a library. As such it realy neads LGPL coverage. I would guess that this was within the author's intention. If you put a none license like the original one on your code then you probebly do not care very much about licenses. I.e. GPL == LGPL to you. :) -----Original Message----- From: Lauri Ojantakanen <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: Tue, 29 Oct 2002 10:21:53 +0200 Subject: mimelib licenses Hi I took a look at the source code files at kdenetwork/mimelib and there was comment like below: //============================================================================= // File: uuencode.cpp // Contents: Definitions for DwUuencode // Maintainer: Doug Sauder <[email protected]> // WWW: http://www.fwb.gulf.net/~dwsauder/mimepp.html // $Revision: 1.9 $ // $Date: 2002/04/22 09:45:43 $ // // Copyright (c) 1996, 1997 Douglas W.
