Unable to run konqueror on UbuntuMATE Linux 20.10

Hello.

I have konqueror installed on UbuntuMATE Linux 20.10 .

When I try to run konqueror, I get the following error message.

Help -> About Konqueror shows the version to be
Version 20.08.1

Synaptic shows the installed version to be the latest version available 
for UbuntuMATE 20.10 .

What do I need to do, in order to get konqueror operational on this system?
