Hm, in the past dragging stuff to kicker would cause a lot of "kicker wants to 
add the item as shortcut/button" problems for me. This is why I switched to 
the external taskbar applet which always lets you drop to windows and doesn't 
accept drops.

Is that better now?

Gosh, you're right, I love KDE. This actually works pretty well now. :-)
