BTW, NeXT Step is still alive... or better: Revived in the GNU Step project,

To me it seems to be a nice desktop environment, not with all the bells and 
whistles like Liquid styles, etc. but with a nice concept. I think if anyone 
is interested in NeXT Step, this is the place to go. Besides Mac OSX, of 
course :-).
