depending on your distribution you have to either change =
/usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/{SIZE}x{SIZE}/apps/kmenu.png
or
/etc/opt/kde3/share/icons/crystalsvg/{SIZE}x{SIZE}/apps/kmenu.png (SUSE)
