KDE 2.2 on OpenBSD

I just installed KDE 2.2 on OpenBSD 3.1 release.
I'm impressed.
I *am* having a couple of problems:
kspread and vivio abort immediately upon loading.
I never see either program initialize.

Are these problems specific to OpenBSD?

Are they fixed in 3.0?
