Printing to a Windows share

I have a question about printing to a windows box. i'm running FreeBSD with 
kde. I also have cups running. I notice however, that the smb option in the 
printer wizard  is greyed out. I can list the share using smbclient -u name 
-l sharename. Am I missing something obvious? I have been unable to get 
printing going on this box.
