Building KDE 3.3 on Openbsd 3.4

I have built Qt 3.3.3-mt and I'm now ready to tackle building KDE. KDE is broken up into many pieces (base, lib, arts, network, etc) Can each of these pieces be built separately and independently of the other pieces? If so I assume I should build base and lib first. Is that correct? Any guidance for getting started will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave Feustel 260-422-5330
