Konqueror Browser Problem with txt files

KDE 3.1.3 Konqeror has a problem with txt files.
I am frequently asked when I click on files from
a google search list whether I want to open the
file with gvim. If I click yes, gvim opens with an
empty file. Here is the latest url for which this
behaviour is exhibited:

Is there a way I can adjust file type associations
to fix this problem?
