libjpeg.so.62.0 = libjpeg6b?

I keep getting error messages from kde configures that libjpeg6h or its header were not found. I have libjpeg.so.62.0. Is libjpeg.so.62.0 the same as libjpeg6h? -- Dave Feustel 260-422-5330
