Your OS probably needs hacks to workaround the lack of *_r()
functions.  I believe FreeBSD doesn't have many of the *_r() used
in KDE as well.

Are you a good C/C++ programmer?  If not, I suggest finding
someone that is and uses OpenBSD to work these issues out with.
Your patches should be contributed here and/or kde-devel.
