Mac OS 10.3 No Zero G4 Powerbook

I use a Mac G4 Powerbook.
KDE is good -- except that I have no zero (0) on the keyboard.
I can do a "fn m" but that is not good.  Kspread, etc., operate good as 
long as I don't open KDE.
I've searched the archives and FAQ and not found an answer.
Seems like it should be "simple" but I've tried lots of keyboards and 
none work properly (for "0").
There must be a 'simple' solution but I've not found it.
