Concerning CCMAIL keyword in CVS logs

I notice that "CCMAIL: ListEmail" causes the email of the list to be visible 
in webcvs.kde.org. Can this be used by spamers to send junk to the developing 
lists?. Or the suscription step does filter out much of this spam flux?.
