Re: unable to get to KDE desktop after logging in

Have you got  /usr/lib/libsunmath.so.1  and its symbolic  link installed ?
/usr/lib/libsunmath.so  -> /usr/lib/libsunmath.so.1 

This is the KDE package  KDEkderuntime-343.

The installation fails in the way you described if this library is not 
installed.


# pkgchk -v  KDEkderuntime-343
/usr
/usr/lib
/usr/lib/libsunmath.so
/usr/lib/libsunmath.so.1
/usr/lib/sparcv9
/usr/lib/sparcv9/libsunmath.so
/usr/lib/sparcv9/libsunmath.so.1
