Dependencies:
-------------
* No dependencies on blastwave or sunfreeware
packages. (We don't want
to
upset to many sysadmins!)
* Keep external dependencies limited to Sun supported,
binary and
backwards compatible packages wherever possible to
avoid issues such as
version mismatches. (i.e. as JDS moves from Gnome
2.0.6 to 2.0.18, many
core libraries are changing at least their minor
version numbers.) The
intent is to ensure that a common set of KDE4 packages
continue to work
on
Solaris 10 throughout all Update releases.

---------------------------

+1 for me! Although, JDS GNOME 2.6.0 didn't move to
2.18.x for Solaris 10 - only OpenSolaris (b65+) for
now (unless this is a future revision).

Also, nothing should depend on CSW (Blastwave) or SFW
(Sunfreeware) packages of this magnitude. The main
reason is that Blastwave doesn't have QA (testing)
control rights on this specific KDE port nor software
updates/packaging.
