IM status and skel

Hi people,
I installed KDE in Solaris 10, but now I have 2 problems.
1 - Every time that I log in, the IM Status window appear. I set in
iiim-proprieties an option to none, but I have to repeat it every time that
I log in.
2 - I need to transfer my config files from KDE in Linux. Do you know how I
could do that? Can i just rsync the /opt/csw/kde-gcc/share/config in Solaris
with /etc/kde3/ in Linux ?
