Sorry, I meant the KDE 4.3 piece. We use Citrix XenApp for UNIX and Sun Rays here so we are stuck with Solaris 10. We still have KDE 3.x in use here. I would love to be able to get to KDE 4.3. :-(  But thanks for the info!

no, it boots and runs on top of opensolaris.

as to KDE4.3 for Solaris, I think there were/are efforts to get it to run on S10 as well, but currently as I understand it most efforts are geared towards opensolaris.
