I've done some googling, and have read (and experienced) about the bug with
kcheckpass in kde 4. I'm currently have version 4.3.1 installed, snv b121.
I've found notes at
http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDE_on_Solaris/OpenSolaris/Status#Broken_screen_lock.
I've navigated to the location to make the configuration changes suggested,
however I'm not seeing the appropriate options to change. Could someone
please elaborate on how their configuring kde to invoke xlock, instead of
kcheckpass? I'm currently invoking xlock via command line, until I resolve
this issue.
