Andreas already has most design bases covered.

I'm not sure if maybe we still need a "-" before the end time. It might look strange, but it would make it really clear what the second time means.

As for the event that goes until the next day: I agree that 11:59 is not good because that's not really what it is. 
My suggestion: If it goes until the next day but is less than 12h long, just write the end time. If it's more than 12h, just put in the end date. Would that work?
