The DE is Mate and no other applications exhibit the issue. The commonality I can see so far is Virtual Box/Mate. I haven't checked any other qt or KDE applications so I'll do that asap. Rene, just to be clear, the behaviour has only been seen in the VMs with a physical mouse. I checked KDevelop bare metal on a new Dell laptop and both mouse scrolling and two finger scrolling worked correctly. To test your theory that it's intended behaviour, I'll create a file with a really long line and turn off word wrap to check if perhaps the document scrolls horizontally. That would indicate an unintended signal from the mouse driver perhaps. > > > > >PS > > > >It's probably my fault because I bottom post and think that one top post > > It is, but because apparently you haven't configured your subscription to > filter out replies that go to you AND to the list (I always "reply-all" to > avoid excluding the list). > Ha ha. The Lua mailing list performs an "auto reply-all" so when I'm posting on other lists I wind up sending messages only to the poster. If that happens, please just forward my message and publicly chastise me. Cheers, Russ > > R >
