Unfortunately, MsgError and S2M resides in the same directory.

More than that, when I place cursor of MsgErro it tells me the
correct place of its definition. When i switch to there, find
the reference to the Assert1 and place cursor on it - it shows
me the correct place of its definition too.

All of them reside in the same directory.

Now, I m not sure I know how to "add to KDevelop's search directories".

This directory resides in the include_directories() clause of my
CMakeLists.txt file - isn't it enough?

One more remark - the definition of Assert1 is inside
ifdef-else, although its different definitions reside in both
cases.

You may want to check the headers where MsgError and/or S2M
are defined and look for any error mark in the #include
directives.
