Kmail Backup

Hi,

just changed from Evolution to Kmail. 
All went fine but:
How can I make a complete backup of my mails with kmail?
Maybe I'm just blind but I cannot find any option. Do I just have to copy my 
/home/username/kde4/share/apps/kmail directory?
In Evolution there was a an option to backup mails in a *.tar.gz archive.
Is there any equivalent for this in kmail?
