Hello all,

I am reaching a point of extreme frustration with KPilot/Akonadi which is a
shame, because I really like most of the things I see in KDE 4.2. I followed
the thread of a few weeks ago but was unabel to get anything out of it.

For the last week I have been unable to sync either Contacts or
Calendar/ToDos. This started as soon as Akonadi was introduced with KDE 4.2,
via ubuntu-backports. Here are my details:

  Treo 650
  Kubuntu Intrepid

  KPilot 5.2.0 (KDE 4.2.0)
  pilot-link 0.12.3
  KDE 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0)
  Qt 4.4.3

And here's what happens:

HotSync Log

16:39:12 Starting the KPilot daemon ...
16:39:12 Daemon started.
16:39:12 Daemon status is `Waiting for sync'
16:39:13 Next HotSync will be: Full Synchronization. Please press the HotSync
button.
16:39:17 Trying to open device usb:...
16:39:18 Checking last PC...
16:39:18 KPilot 5.2.0 (KDE 4.2.0) HotSync starting...

16:39:18 [File Installer]
16:39:18 No Files to install
16:39:18 [Conduit memofile-conduit]
16:39:18 Syncing with /home/george/Documents/Pilot/MemoFile.
16:39:18 Doing regular sync...
16:39:18 [Conduit kpilot-conduit-todo]
16:39:18 Could not open or create PC data store.
16:39:18 The conduit To-do Conduit could not be executed.
16:39:18 [Conduit kpilot-conduit-calendar]
16:39:48 Could not open or create PC data store.
16:39:48 The conduit Calendar Conduit could not be executed.
16:39:48 [Conduit kpilot-conduit-contacts]
16:40:05 Invalid record mapping. Doing first sync.
16:40:05 Doing first sync. This may take a while.

At that point kpilotDaemon dies the death. I run kpilotDaemon with debug=9
and the resulting log is available. I am reluctant to post it in a public
spot as it contains all my appointments and contacts, but I would be happy to
share it with the developers.

Thank you all in advance,
--george

P.S. I tried syncing with a clean account, to no avail.
