How can I set up timely reminders for the events of a remote calendar?

Hi all!
I'm using KDE-4.2.2's KOrganizer on Mandriva Linux Cooker. I added a
"Calendar in Remote File" to KOrganizer (from a public Google Calendar
iCal calendar), but now I want to set up reminders for its events, 2
days in advance, 3 hours in advance, etc.
How can I achieve that?
