Okay -- I was half-asleep!  In my brain-dead condition, I was thinking 
of "Gmail" a a Gnome-based equivalent of "Kmail"!!!  It is no such 
thing at all -- it is Google-Mail.  My apologies for muddying the 
waters so badly.
