HTML email

I know we all hate HTML emails but I have a couple of email lists I subscribe 
to (Dilbert mailing list and The Washington Post breaking news lists spring to 
mind) that send HTML mail. Is there any way that I can set these emails to 
render the HTML and show the external graphics automatically?
