order of columns in the e-mail list view

Hi all, Please excuse me if this is a known issue. I believe I remember somebody else complaining about a similar issue but I could not locate that thread. The problem is the order of the columns in the e-mail list view (right upper corner, just below the search box). I would like to have the "Importance" column to be the first one, followed by "Subject" "Sender" and "Date". One can arrange them in this order, by dragging and dropping the columns but it seems like the arrangement gets reset every once in a while. I could not find any other setting for this anywhere else. Any tips and tricks will be greatly appreciated.
