Did you try [kdepim-users] i.e. without any backslashes? Backslashes shouldn't be needed. At least, they were not needed in KMail 1.9/KDE 3.5. I'm surprised that kdepim\-users\] appears to work in KMail 1.11. This seems to be a regression.
