Creating HTML message from file.

Is there a way to create an HTML message by "inserting" an HTML file after 
starting the message in the usual way, from the new message button?  

I know how to turn on the HTML features in Kmail's composer, but I would 
prefer to create the HTML code outside of Kmail, then just insert it into the 
message.
