KMail and message scan at startup

Hello,

i'm using kmail 1.12.1. It is configured to scan for new mails every 5 
minutes.
At startup it waits 5 minutes before it looks for new mails for the first time 
in this session.
Is there a possibility to let him scan for new mails immediately after startup 
automatically ?
(Ok i can press the button - but i am lazy ...)
