Kaddressbook opening older VCFfile?

Sometimes when opening Kaddressbook it seems to open some of the older
VCF files that it automatically creates in it's folder. I open
Kaddressbook via the button in Kmenu and via Krunner, however, there
seems to be no consistency between which way I open it and which VCF
file it opens.

Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the cause?

Kubuntu 9.10, KDE 4.3.3
