I don't like it on dark > colours? I use the most recent stable KDE SC (4.3.4). I'm not sure, but maybe it's the color assigned to the color role "unread" (or similar). Or maybe the color is (still) hardcoded in KDE SC 4.3. I think w.r.t. the colors some changes were made for KDE SC 4.4.
