akonadi migration 4.4 rc2 -> 4.4

I just stumbeled over a problem with akonadi after migration from kde 4.4rc2 
to 4.4 :
akonadi would not run anymore due to database incompatibilities.
however, found a solution here:

together with the hint on virtuosoconverter on http://www.kubuntu.org.
applied both tips and akonadi is working again.
maybe tis is helpful for others, too.
