Fedora have issued a warning to stay away from mysql-5.1.43 for now. Apparently something in it is causing the Akonadi database to fail to inialise, which in turn means that KAddressBook is not available. I do not know whether this is a package issue or a mysql bug, but if you have a broken addressbook it might be worth checking your version of mysql and downgrading if necessary. If your mysql version is not 5.1.43 and the addressbook is broken it is an entirely different problem.
