Nepomuk still being disabled

I've followed the advice of several on this list but nepomuk is still 
displaying the "Nepomuk Indexing agent has been disabled" message.  This 
in the openSuSE milestone 3 release for 11.3.

The autostart and service start variables have been set to true and 
indexing service set in desktop config.

Anyone have another suggestion?
