Not knowing the status of OpenSUSE, I can't answer definitively, but the kaddressbook maintainer has backported a fix that allows the use of old distribution lists. I have just tested, using a list created some time back to send a message to myself at three different addresses. All arrived. I'd suggest that you set up a similar test group, and check that it works. If it does, you can simple carry on creating your new group. Starting to add a name brings up a list of possible matches, so it's not as bad a job as you think. Having said that, don't forget to organise backing up the contacts. > Presently my Personal > Contacts are in 6 sub address folders. when I go to select in Kmail > all the contacts are listed under Personal Contacts not in the > subaddress book folders. > Drag and drop them. Copying may be safer than moving - at least until we are sure that it's not only stable, but that we understand it well enough. > How can I transfer the sub address books to Kmail? neopmuk is > running. akonadi-neopmuk_contact_feeder is running. > If the addresses are there they are available to KMail. > Is there a work around for the known problem with distribution > lists? > > openSUSE 11.2 > KDE 4.4.3 > kmail-4.4.3-210.9.x86_64 > > Thanks for any suggestions.
