Share is what was missing from my memory :-) ~/.kde/share/config/akonadi (the directory did not regenerate this time, so if it happens again, it would be ~/.kde/share/config/akonadi*) ~/.local/share/akonadi (this one's back) When all else failed the first time this broke for me, the foregoing worked. Now, I don't bother with anything else. I haven't done anything to tweak akonadi so the default settings are fine. -- Art Alexion
