Again: Spell check in Kmail

I sent this some time ago -- zero replies.  Does anyone have the same issue?

After 4.5 upgrade, the misspelled words are not underlined (in red) while 
writing new message in kmail.  The 'Automatic Spellcheking' option under the 
'Option' menu is enabled as before.  

However, while opening 'Spellchecker' from 'Setting' menu and just pressing OK 
makes the autospellcjeck enabled.  But this works only on a message by message 
basis.

Any ideas how to fix this?
